One of our main priorities at Plan B is the psychological wellbeing of our staff, helping them to navigate the busy demands of life, career, family and self-care. As part of this ongoing commitment, Plan B Group has recently partnered with the organisation Life Street to develop an Employee Assistance Program that helps raise awareness of personal wellbeing self-management, and gives staff the tools to make healthy, informed choices.
A fully confidential service, staff can connect with a Life Street EAP counsellor about any concerns they may have, access informative articles and video content, and attend webinars on topics of relevance. There are also self-assessments available that can offer insight into personal behaviours and help develop workable plans to achieve mental and physical health goals.
The Life Street EAP was launched to staff internally in early March and we really hope our valued staff will benefit from the tools and resources available through the program. The initiative was made possible due to the research and recommendations of our Office Manager Andrea Sommers, and Cindy Wedding, General Manager, Administration and Finance, who are committed to keeping staff wellbeing at the forefront of what we do at the Plan B Group.
